About Felipe

Felipe Vallesi is an Argentine producer, audio engineer, and composer based in Madrid, Spain. He has worked for Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us, Brokeback Mountain) and Gustavo Borner (Birdman, Guardians of the Galaxy), took part in dubbing and voiceover sessions for productions by Netflix, Amazon, Disney, and Marvel, and graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music. He has also led bands, performed at hundreds of events, built a Spotify playlist that grew to over 35,000 followers, and now explores the intersection of art and technology from his new base in Madrid.

While in Los Angeles, Felipe was part of creative and technical teams that demanded both precision and musical sensitivity. He collaborated with Gustavo Santaolalla, Juan Luqui, and Aníbal Kerpel, assisting in recording, mixing, dubbing, and orchestration sessions at studios such as Igloo Music—run by acclaimed producer Gustavo Borner—and Nightbird Studios.

Though he graduated from one of the world’s most prestigious music schools, it was in these studios that he truly learned what the professional industry demands: the ability to anticipate, adapt, and always deliver technically flawless results without sacrificing artistry.

His journey began in Mendoza, Argentina, where he was born in 1998 into a musically rooted family. He started playing piano at age five, followed by singing and live performances. For several years, he formed a violin-piano duo with Ccesco (Francisco Delgado), performing at weddings and high-profile events. At the same time, he fronted the cumbia band Paraíso as lead singer and producer.

In 2019, he moved to Boston to attend Berklee, where he refined his skills and learned to turn intuition into process. He graduated with highest honors, earning dual degrees in Music Production & Engineering and Film Scoring, received the Thrive Scholarship, and participated in orchestral productions, large-scale recordings, and collaborative scoring sessions.

During the 2020 pandemic, he reconnected with his roots and love for tango, learning bandoneón on a vintage instrument loaned by a neighbor. Once back in Boston, that led to standout performances at the Berklee Performance Center, where he proudly represented Argentine music on an international stage. That blend of identity and excellence marked a turning point in his artistic journey.

At 16, Felipe also began to explore the business side of music. He created a Latin music playlist on Spotify that reached over 35,000 followers, working with emerging artists, experimenting with positioning strategies, and learning how algorithms and attention work in the digital era.

Before all of this, he studied Systems Engineering for three years. Though he eventually left that path to pursue his artistic calling, he has recently reconnected with that side through programming and audio analysis projects, exploring new ways to understand sound, production, and audience behavior through a technical and strategic lens.

Now based in Madrid, Felipe is looking to collaborate with artists, studios, production companies, and organizations that understand that the future of music isn’t purely emotional or purely technical. It’s hybrid—and that’s where he thrives: between instinct and analysis, the studio and the stage, the art and the system.
